Position Title: – Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Coordination Volunteer
Reports To: CPD Director, Ethiopian Association of Anesthetists
Contract Type: Volunteer (Transportation and Communication Allowance Provided)
Preferred Candidates: Unemployed Graduated Anesthetist


1. CPD technical assistant Volunteer

Purpose of the Role:
To assist in coordinating Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of anesthetists in Ethiopia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of CPD activities.
  • Support CPD event logistics, including scheduling, venue setup, and participant registration.
  • Track and document CPD activities and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Maintain and update CPD records, including attendance and completion certificates.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve CPD programs.
  • Communicate with participants and trainers to address inquiries and provide relevant information.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Anesthesia or related field.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Basic knowledge of CPD concepts and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong social media engagement skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.

Duration: Contract-based for a period of 3 months, with periodic evaluations and the possibility of extension.

Compensation:
Volunteers will receive a transportation and communication allowance during the contract period.
